Family therapy
Strengthening relationships through collaborative work
Does everyone need therapy?
In a family, it is common for differences to arise between one or more members. However, when conflicts begin to significantly affect coexistence, cause psychological distress, or indicate a potential relational breakdown, it may be a good time to consult a specialist.
Many families wonder if all members should attend therapy together. This depends on the root of the conflict—sometimes, therapy is recommended for the whole family, while in other cases, only certain members may participate.
If you believe family therapy could help but a family member is unwilling to join, you can still attend on your own and begin working through the challenges independently.
How do we work in family therapy?
In therapy, we will explore family dynamics, the root of the challenges being experienced, and give a voice to all members—even those who are not physically present. We will focus on communication and respect, fostering a collaborative process.
